These elections appoint the officers and volunteers for the July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2014

program year.

Nominations are due no later than May 29.  Notice of nominees and voting will take place immediately thereafter via email.

We have to closeout contracts!!!

Synopsis:

One senior leader’s approach to motivating employees and encouraging performance of a Procurement & Subcontracts organization to remain focused on closing out purchase orders and subcontracts with the end of the Space Shuttle Program as well as accomplishing the objectives of continued performance in support of active contracts.

Registration begins at 5:30pm
Dinner at 6:15
Speaker at 7pm.
Meeting adjourns at 8pm.

We are proud to announce that Brad Wilkerson will be joining us as the VP of Programs for the NCMA North Texas Chapter!

Brad Wilkerson is currently the Contracts Lead for Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems Consolidated Manufacturing Center in Forest, MS and the Advance Products Center RMS CBA in Dallas, TX. Brad has experience in both Contracts and Program Management on a wide range of pursuits and contract types in both the domestic and international markets. Prior to joining Raytheon in 2006, he worked at L-3 Communications on Naval programs for inspection, modernization, and modification of P-3 aircraft. Brad is a graduate of the Raytheon Contracts Leadership Development Program and is a Certified Federal Contract Manager. He earned a Masters of Management with a concentration in organizations and strategy from the University of Texas-Dallas and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from LeTourneau University. Brad is also a certified Raytheon Program Manager and a qualified Raytheon Six Sigma specialist.

Congratulations to Veronica Cole Harper

The North Texas Chapter congratulates member Veronica Cole Harper, CFCM, CCCM for her receipt of the Charles J. Delaney Memorial Award. Ms. Harper was nominated and awarded the honor for her article titled, "Managing Change During Contract Performance" (Contract Management June 2011). She was presented with the award in August 2012 at World Congress in Boston, MA by Mike Fischetti, NCMA Executive Director and Elliott Branch, NCMA National President.
